    • Thanks a lot, i’m glad you like my HDR’s then! πŸ˜€ That halo effect happens when the photos don’t align perfectly πŸ™‚ I don’t like it either but it happens sometimes, and it can easily ruin the whole photo. It was raining at the sea, that’s why under the clouds it looks kind of like fog. I also don’t like those Surreal HDR’s, they’re mostly just presets that the software comes with, but i don’t use any of that, they look awful! πŸ™‚

        • Well I’ve never tried it in portraits, mostly because i think it would look really bad because it would capture every little detail! πŸ™‚ But in landscape it’s very useful, especially in a bright day, where you want to take a photo of something and the highlights get way too white! πŸ™‚ Give it a try when you can, and if you use it portraits, don’t forget to show me the results! πŸ™‚

          • Yea I’ve gotta start dabbling in landscape photography, just haven’t had the time to go out lately. I’ll definitely share the results with you when I get a chance though. I have a shoot coming this weekend maybe I’ll try to get something interesting from that.
