These photos were taken a few days ago after hours of rain! I really like fog, it can turn “boring” landscapes into so much more! These were taken using the Sigma 70-300mm, so the original photos have very low contrast. After processing them using Camera Raw, Silver Efex, Analog Efex and Photoshop, they turn into something that i’m proud of! 🙂 The only problem i have with this lens is the low contrast, but it’s very sharp! As you can see, the branches of the trees are clearly visible and everything has quite a bit of detail. It’s a cheap lens, but it does the trick, after a bit of editing! 😀
I can’t help but think about the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit when i’m editing photos with fog and mountains, it just pops in my mind and won’t go away until i’m done!
“Far over the Misty Mountains rise
Leave us standing upon the height…” 😀
Hope you enjoy, and more to come! 😀 This is only the first part of the series 😉
